Mexican director, post producer and editor.
He received his bachelor degree in Communication and Audiovisual Arts at ITESO in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. His first short film as director, Entambado (2020), premiered at Macabro XIX Mexico City International Horror Film Festival. His short film Fifth of June (2021) won the Special Mention award at the 19th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), and was part of the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, the 19th Bogotá Short Film Festival (BOGOSHORTS), among others. In 2023, he was selected to participate at Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Creator’s Lab workshop in Yucatán, México, and filmed the short film David (For Now) (2024) under his consultancy.
His work as an editor has been shown in national and international festivals, like the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), Valladolid International Film Festival (SEMNICI), FICM, DocsMX, among others. He specializes in post production processes for film and TV series, working for clients such as Netflix and Amazon, but his true passion lies in the search of new and necessary narratives within the current audiovisual landscape.
